This course will provide an overview of various cyber attack methods with an emphasis on detection and prevention. Specific topics may include communication protocol vulnerabilities, code vulnerabilities and cryptography as well as monitoring of data and intrusions. A basic knowledge of networks, UNIX/Linux and Windows is assumed, as well as knowledge of C/C++.
